New: Transmission oil kits

We have new kits for transmission oil changes in our range, which we offer especially for Mercedes-Benz, BMW and VW cars. The complete kits contain everything you need for a successful oil change: Transmission oil filter, transmission oil, installation materials such as screws and seals, gloves and an oil change trailer.

"We want to make oil changes as easy and convenient as possible for the mechanic. That's why you'll find everything in one box - including installation materials such as screws and seals, as well as gloves and a service sheet! There is no need to order additional material. This saves the workshop time, money and nerves," says Jörg Beuke, Head of Product Management at Hengst.

Hengst recommends a transmission service for automatic and DSG transmissions every 80,000 to 120,000 kilometers to ensure the longevity and performance of the vehicle. Further kits for transmission oil changes will follow shortly. Of course, all our kits are equipped with Hengst premium oil "Made in Germany".

Product optimization: External stabilization for air filters

We are constantly on the lookout for optimized, environmentally friendly product designs to offer you the best possible solution for the ever-changing market requirements. We also strive to optimize existing products or adapt them to changing customer and environmental requirements in a continuous improvement process.

Hengst Flex Tape is a manufacturing technology for increasing performance through optimized pleat stabilization for air filters. The metal mesh is omitted and replaced by a tape. This is not only more sustainable, but also offers improved dust holding capacity by stabilizing the folds.

The new technology was developed in Germany and tested here in the laboratory. The air filters are produced in our modern plant in Rawicz, Poland. The conversion of various air filters for commercial vehicles as well as agricultural and construction machinery will take place successively over the next few months.

Oil filter module for MAN TGE and
VW Crafter engines

Hengst Filtration supplies the Volkswagen Group with an oil filter module that has been specially developed for the Modular Diesel System (MDB) of the 2.0 l TDI engines.

The slim design of the oil filter module enables an optimum combination of oil filtration and oil cooling, even where installation space is limited. The all-plastic module is equipped with the environmentally friendly Energetic® oil filter E340H D247, a heat exchanger, two pressure switches and a filter bypass valve. The concept ensures service-friendly filter replacement without direct contact with the dirty filter. A special feature is the patented plastic oil drain plug in the filter cover which, in conjunction with the direct screw connection of the oil cooler, ensures remarkable overall efficiency. These advances were developed in close cooperation with Volkswagen and brought to series production maturity in order to meet the highest standards in the automotive industry.

The Hengst oil filter module is installed in all MDB engines from 77 kW up to a powerful 130 kW (105 hp to 177 hp).
